Our farm is home to the most diverse bloodlines, meticulously curated to ensure genetic purity free from hydro and dwarfism. For years, we have carefully selected and bred specific mares and stallions to develop our red Friesian program, allowing us to offer healthy, stunning red Friesian foals to the public.
At Beddingfield Farms, we are dedicated to preserving the rich history and legacy of the Friesian breed. Our old-style Friesians are celebrated for their versatility, soundness, temperament, and undeniable beauty. Currently, we proudly house several red carriers and 5 of the 14 remaining red Friesians in the world. With the unique pedigrees we've secured through importing unrelated bloodlines, we can continue this exceptional breeding program without resorting to inbreeding, addressing a common issue faced by many breeders.
For 2024 and 2025, our distinguished stallions will be available to the public. Additionally, we have 2 red Friesian embryos ready for 2025, available for purchase. The sex of the embryos is not predetermined. You can use your own recipient mares, or we can assist in providing one. Equine IVF is our trusted partner, ensuring the highest standards of care and success. A live foal guarantee (LFG) is included when EQUINE IVF manages the entire process, whether with your mare or a leased one, with all costs covered in the purchase price except for shipping if using your own mare.
